Royal Blue for Fall 2008 / Winter 2009
Wondering which blue is in for Fall 2008 / Winter 2009? It is the richest of all blue: the Royal Blue. You can easily match a Royal Blue apparel with your mostly monochromatic gray, black and white Fall/Winter color clothing. Matching a Royal Blue dress shirt with a charcoal or dark gray suit sets up a nice contrast between the two (Right: Marc by Marc Jacobs) or a Royal Blue sweater over a crisp white shirt and dark colored pants finished with a dark brown dress shoe (Left: Marni). Splendid contrasting technique using monochromatic colors and rich colors.
