Trends Report 4: Pea Coats for Fall 2008

I have always been in love with pea coats. They have one of the greatest versatility as an outer wear. As a casual outer wear, it can still provide you with versatility to create various looks from smart casual to rugged styling. The way to achieve the different styles depends greatly on the texture and structure of the pea coat. Having fitted and well-structured pea coats naturally gives you a sleek smart casual style. The two examples below from Hermes (left) and Louis Vuitton (right) shows the great combination with turtle-neck sweaters.
