Lavender colors for Spring Summer 2009

This is one of the most interesting colors I find for Spring/Summer 2009. There are so many combination and shades of lavender that simply makes it a very versatile color to wear for the season. Many designers use lavender as the base color against purple, gray, pink, and also use the various tones of it to form languid lavender or dark lavender gray. You sometimes wonder if it is the same color schemes between mens fashion clothing but at the same time they look different.

Burberry, below, uses dark lavender on its long soft cardigan matching well with the brown cardigan within and dark gray pants.

Further below are the use of lavender purple by Burberry and Lanvin giving a nice unique color tone to wear for Spring Summer.

Languid lavender and lavender gray are another wonderful color combination that is being widely used this season. The lavender gray makes the color look very much like blue but it simply differentiates from the blue tone. So color matching with lavender gray can be easy due to the existence of monochromatic color within.

Marni using light lavender gray shirt with black shorts and shoes. And Louis Vuitton uses Lavender gray jacket and pants against black shirt.
