Mens Suits Spring Summer 2010

When it comes to fashion for men there's nothing more basic than a suit. No man's wardrobe is complete without a suit of some kind. Thankfully, however, suits come in many varieties so there's still room to express your personal style. This is especially true for spring suits, which come in a wide variety of fits, colors, and textures.

To welcome the warmth of spring choose a white suit that will carry you all the way into the heat of summer. Givenchy presents a look for the brave, paired with white shirt and white shoes. To add a bit more dimension to your appearance opt for black accessories as shown by Dolce & Gabbana. Try rolling the hem of your pants and wearing no socks to perfect this warm weather style. A white suit can also serve as a neutral color, allowing other colors to pop like the orange shirt is this Jean Paul Gaultier look. White looks especially stylish when tailored to fit close. Gucci demonstrates this well leather car shoes and a patterned shirt as the focal point.

Many designers cranked up the disco flavor this season by showing suits made in shiny material. These are definitely not styles for the corporate boardroom, but they work well for parties and men that otherwise like to have fun with fashion. Moschino, Gucci, and Lanvin showed suits with shine in deep, saturated color. Even Calvin Klein Collection, who's known for making basics in the plainest neutrals, presented a jazzy suit with blue and pink tones, depending on the light and angle. This glitzy suit style was seen also seen in neutrals as demonstrated by Moschino.

The double breasted suit made a strong return to fashion last year and is now even bigger on designer runways. Labels like Viktor & Rolf, Alexander McQueen, Raf Simmons, and Ralph Lauren offer suits in traditional colors that can be worn to the office.

Double Breasted Business Suits Spring Summer 2010

The double-breasted style isn't just for business, however. Prada mixes a suit jacket with darker pants for a look that's ready for night on the town. Neil Barrett's camel jacket is paired with sweats for an easy weekend style that still looks put together. If eccentric fashion is your thing, Trussardi 1911 shows you how to wear a double-breasted jacket that has short sleeves. The bow tie and striped pants make this ensemble deliberately fashion forward. This double-breasted style is more casual than ever with Iceberg's slouchy construction. Paired with silk pants and sneakers, it's about as far from business-like as you can get!
