Types of Socks to Match Sports Sneakers

Question:

I just bought a new pair of diesel shoes. They are called remy I believe. They are kind of a nice comfortable shoe not an athletic shoe not a dress shoe. What kind of socks can I wear with them? Can I go sockless? How bad are booty socks?

Answer:

It is a nice pair of shoes to wear. Can be easily coordinated. Your question actually boils down to what you are going to wear before deciding on your socks. For example, you are wearing jeans with the shoes and going sockless would not look complimentary to your feet. I usually do not prefer not wearing socks with shoes when wearing long pants or jeans. Unless the pants can be carried off really nicely sockless like slim fit pants reaching only your ankle.

However, if you are wearing cargo shorts or bermudas with the shoes, then going sockless would be fine. To avoid stinking your shoes, then maybe you can try the booty socks.

I would say that the normal single colored socks can still be worn with the shoes and I will try to match the socks against your pants. If i want to be more adventurous, then maybe I will try brighter and patterned socks to match the dark colored style of the shoe.
