Choosing the right colored dress pants to match cream jacket for summer

Question:

well, i have a cream-colored, silk jacket. what are appropriate trouser colors for this jacket? the jacket is 2-button, very nice. it looks great with black, but i have a wedding this summer and would prefer lighter colors for the pants. any help would be great.

You have chosen a silk jacket that can be easily coordinated with many other apparel colors. Pants colors can be dark colors like navy, gray or charcoal which gives it a very classic finish.

Since you are looking at lighter colored pants, then I would definitely recommend light gray pants as a choice. For a more summer look, light brown, dark brown, or khaki colored pants would be a nice choice.
