2-button or 3-button Sport Jacket

Fashion Advice 24:
Is a 2-button or 3-button sport jacket more suitable with a pair of jeans?

Question:

When wearing a suit jacket (casual) with a pair of jeans, is it better to wear a three button jacket or a two button jacket? I would appreciate your advice on this matter! Thank you mark!

Answer:

My advice is there is no standard in terms of whether a three-button or two-button sport jacket to wear with your jeans or pants. We would see that wearing two-button sport jacket reveals more of your torso compared to three-button jackets. For men with short torso, they would benefit with the two-button jackets. In actual fact, it boils down to personal choice as well.

My preference is wearing de-constructed jackets where there are no shoulder pads or even lining. This makes the overall look casual and nicely coordinated against the jeans.
