Fashion Advice 17:
What are the colors to wear for different seasons?

Question:

Hello! I live in sunny southern California s and have a real problem deciding what are the "appropriate" seasonal colors to wear in suits and shirts. I mean, the weather here is not like back east, so does it really matter what colors I wear in different seasons? Is there a guide for "winter" and "spring" and "summer" colors in suits ans shirts? Help!!! Thanks!

Answer:

Hi. Your question actually has two parts to it. Firstly, refer to my webpage: Similar Hues Color Coordination where I mentioned about the different color schemes to match for different seasons.

These colors are only an example and you should base on the concept to create your colors for the seasons.

The second part of your question depends on the occasion rather than the season. The combination of your suit might not make much of a difference. The reason is your choice of suits is to create a certain level of formality. Therefore, you can't expect your suits to go too light colored since it depicts casualness as well.

So your choice of suits should be darker colored for safety, example: navy, charcoal, gray, or black.

As for your choice of shirts... the combination is never ending. Why don't you refer to my ebook for a clearer picture of how to mix and match your suits, shirts, and ties. It is definitely an ebook worth your keeping and reading. I will be publishing my next ebook soon on business casual and I will give it to you free if you purchase this ebook now.
