White Suit Jacket for Summer Wedding

I have a wedding coming up in July and I was wondering if I could wear a white suit jacket with a light grey shirt and black tie with black pants and black shoes. Let me know what you think.

Answer:

I would avoid wearing a white suit jacket. Your colors are mainly monochromatic and can be deemed pretty boring. Why not have more beautiful summer colors added to spice things up? Summer colors are like pink, bright red, sky blue, or lavender.

It is better for you to consider wearing a full suit instead especially for your wedding. It would create a good level of formality and stylishness. I would rather go for a light gray suit with chalk stripe or check patterns, then match it against check shirts with white background or sky blue color, and black shoes.
